It has been reported that CNN gave Lou Dobbs $8 million in severance pay for leaving CNN. Wow! Is Lou actually worth that much? Why would CNN do that?! According to inside sources, Lou was actually asked to bow out of the rest of his year and half contract because CNN couldn't stand him! They wanted him OUT! Obviously, badly enough to dig really dig to pay for him to go! It's no secret that CNN boss Jonathan Klein and Lou were never on the best of terms, but to put out that kind of money to make Lou leave, well, that sounds like the hate runs deep. No word yet what Lou plans to do next. Although, with that kind of money, he could spend a while trying to figure it out.
