New York Magazine Quote: Yesterday, MTV officially placed Jay-Z atop its list of 2009’s Hottest Emcees in the Game. Then, last night, they received an e-mail from New York governor David Paterson commending them on a job well done: “Having just attended his September 11th benefit concert in Madison Square Garden a few weeks ago,” says Paterson, “I can personally attest to his commitment to New York and the impact he has on New Yorkers of all ages.
